The Super Altaslink was the first to display the unique "S" shaped curved chassis, a revolution to the trailer industry. This design was introduced, firstly, to give transporters the edgeby maximising payload without minimising strenght, and secondly to improve the asthetics of trailers on the road, which wond second place at the International Swedish Steel Design Awards.
The Ultra Atlaslink, a variation of the Super Atlaslink, is currently the lightest steel interlink, weighing a mere 7300kg.
